Agrograph’s API Playground: A comprehensive guide

Agrograph announces the release of the Agros® API Playground as part of the Agros® Test Drive experience. This addition allows users to sample Agrograph's REST APIs, which provide seamless data integrations that optimize production, enhance risk analysis, and improve business processes for partners worldwide.

For demonstration purposes, the Playground includes a list of predetermined variables reporting within a time frame of 2011 to 2022. Before we explore a few use cases, learn more about the Playground's development and capabilities below.

Understanding the Playground

The API Playground is an interactive gateway for understanding and utilizing our REST APIs. Whether you're a seasoned developer or a curious enthusiast, the structured approach to its features, including access, authentication, parameters, and data types, ensures a user-friendly and efficient experience.

At its core, the Playground is structured around three feature collections, each with selectable features that provide the essential GeoJSON data required by the REST APIs.

With an intuitive interface, you can dive right into experimentation without any hassle by selecting different parameters or params. Currently, params are divided into two main groups - Crop and Management. Variables available through the Crop Param include crop ID and crop yield, and the Management Param contains sustainability and phenology metrics such as tillage method, crop rotation, harvest dates and more.

Every selection you make in the right sidebar dynamically updates the cURL command, allowing you to see the impact of your choices in real-time.
